Lifestyle Coaching September Events

The Lifestyle Coaching Program’s mission is to provide evidence-based lifestyle education without barriers to the patients, employees and the communities we serve to decrease health disparities and increase health literacy. The Lifestyle Coaching curriculum focuses on the reduction of risk factors to help our clients mange the chronic diseases that plague our communities, including type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease. Please choose from the programs below to learn hands on tools to improve health through lifestyle. All virtual events include electronic educational handouts and utilizes the Zoom platform. Seminar links and handouts will be sent to the email provided with online registration approximately 24 hours prior to the scheduled event. The Volumetrics Weight Management Program is available with video on demand viewing. Biweekly videos will be emailed to you for viewing at your convenience.

Diabetes Lifestyle Coaching (4 Week Series)

This 4 week series is based on ADCES7 Self-Care Behaviors for people with diabetes. You will learn about reducing risk, monitoring, taking medication, healthy eating, being active, and more.

Tasting is believing! Independence Health System is hosting on-site cooking demos as a part of the Lifestyle Coaching curriculum at both the Butler and Clarion campuses. Learn delicious, economical recipes to help meet nutrition goals.
