Tom Genevro brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare leadership
to Independence Health System. A graduate of Penn State University with
a degree in Labor and Industrial Relations and Robert Morris University
where he earned his MBA, Genevro joined Butler Health System in 2008 after
serving in various HR and operational leadership capacities at St. Clair
Hospital. Genevro utilizes his HR and operational experience, having served
as Senior VP of Operations and COO previously, to lead the integration
of HR services and provide executive leadership as a strategic business
partner to implement solutions for workforce planning and engagement,
and enhance relationships with leadership teams while fostering and supporting
all staff. Genevro is a member of the Butler Community Development Corporation
Board and Chair of the Center for Healthcare Solutions board. He and his
wife, Julie, are the parents of two children and live in Mars
BHS Foundation
