Clarion Hospital Emergency Medical Services exists to provide citizens and visitors with the highest possible quality in prehospital emergency medical services while identifying customer service at every level of operation.
The EMS Fleet at Clarion Hospital Consists of:
Annual subscriptions to Clarion Hospital EMS services are available. A subscription to Clarion Hospital Emergency Medical Service entitles a subscriber and eligible household members to unlimited prehospital emergency care by professional Paramedics and EMT’s and medically necessary non-emergency interfacility transportation as defined by insurance guidelines. Transport/Wheelchair van transportation service is available from Clarion Hospital EMS, but it is not covered by the ambulance service subscription program, Medicare or Medicaid, or most private insurance. However, a reduced wheelchair van rate is offered to EMS subscribers as an added benefit.
The transport/wheelchair van base rate is $30.00 per trip ($20 per trip for EMS subscribers). There is an additional mileage charge for any transport over 10 miles. The stretcher van base rate is $300.00 per trip and $10.00 per mile. Please consider Clarion Hospital EMS if you need this type of alternative transportation service.
