Details: DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research proven way to control or lower blood pressure through diet and lifestyle. This plan has also been shown to lower LDL cholesterol and aid with weight loss. High blood pressure and LDL are major risk factors for heart disease and stroke.
