Chad S. Hendrickson, MD, FAAD
Excellence in Dermatology
After serving in the military for 15 years, Dr. Chad Hendrickson and his
family moved back to western Pennsylvania to help fill an expanding gap
in dermatologic care in the area. A native of New Wilmington and a graduate
of Gannon University, Dr. Hendrickson is excited to bring his family back
to western Pennsylvania and looks forward to opportunities to give back
to this region.
Dr. Hendrickson served as an army physician for 11 years. He was the chief
of dermatology at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany and the
chief of dermatology at McDonald Army Health Center in Fort Eustis, Virginia.
He obtained his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University
and completed a transitional internship and a dermatology residency at
the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.
When asked about his career choice, Dr. Hendrickson replied, "I chose
dermatology because it's a field where I have the opportunity to treat
patients from all ages and demographics and where a premium is put on
the doctor/patient interaction. The procedural side of dermatology, including
skin cancer surgery, is especially rewarding because we have the opportunity
to quickly improve people's lives."
From general dermatology to treatment of skin cancers, Dr. Hendrickson
and his team strive to provide the highest standard of care to all age groups.
