"Straight from the heart"

In these modern times, we often don’t take the time to express our gratitude, but today I would like to do just that.
I recently had open-heart surgery to remove an aortic aneurysm at Butler Memorial Hospital. I would like to publicly thank my surgeon for his willingness to FaceTime my girls, with my husband present, and answer all their questions before surgery; for taking time to explain the process; for his compassion and honesty—but mostly for his skill while my life was literally in his hands. Unwavering kindness I would be amiss if I didn’t also publicly thank and praise the nursing staff at Butler Memorial Hospital's ICU, as well as the seventh-floor staff for their compassionate care, skill, and unwavering kindness during my recent recovery. We are so fortunate to have medical professionals that are equipped and ready to bring our community back to health. Again, I just wanted to return a little bit of the kindness that was shown to me. Thank you to all who invested themselves in me.

I praise the Lord for providing me this special health care and for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for His love to see me through.
