  • Monitor and manage blood pressure with diet, exercise and medication management
  • Identify any needs for behavioral modification
  • Develop goals to achieve positive outcomes

How the Program Works

The program lasts 6 to 12 weeks, depending on your needs. You will attend 1 hour long sessions 3 times per week that will consist of exercise on numerous different types of exercise machines. We will base your amount of exercise on your abilities and progression through the program. Each session, you will wear a cardiac monitor while you exercise and we will check your blood pressure before, during and after each session.

We will meet with you periodically throughout the program to assess your progress in meeting you individualized goals. We will provide your physician with reports on your progress midway and at the completion of the program.

Once you have completed the program, you will be independent and confident in your ability to manage your exercise and risk factor modification on your own!
