Dr. Michael Fiorina joins Butler Health System Board of Trustees

Dr. Michael Fiorina has been appointed to the Butler Health System Board of Trustees.

Dr. Fiorina is currently a board-certified family practice physician and owner of Fiorina Family Practice. Born in Lower Burrell, PA, he attended Washington and Jefferson College and then The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing a residency in family medicine in Altoona, PA, Dr. Fiorina moved to Butler in 1998. Originally employed as a physician at Butler Medical Associates for seven years, he then opened his own private practice and currently remains an independent physician.

He currently is a majority owner in the Butler BlueSox baseball team and volunteers his time coaching a variety of youth sports. He has also had the joy of instructing medical students, nurse practitioner students, and physician assistant students at various colleges. He is married to his wife, Kristen, and has four children: Christopher, Benjamin, Hope and Sarah. He has had the opportunity to participate and complete a variety of marathons, triathlons and recently a Tough Mudder with his children.
