Palliative Care Physician Invited to be Keynote Speaker at Penn State Medical School

BHS Physician, Kathy Selvaggi, MD was recently invited to be the Keynote Speaker for the Driskill lecture at Penn State Medical School.

The Driskill lecture is an annual lecture sponsored by the Driskill family and focuses on palliative care.

Typically, nationally known researchers or scholars are invited to spend the day at Penn State’s College of Medicine. The day finishes with a lecture that focuses on palliative care.

Dr. Selvaggi gave a presentation on building Butler Health System’s palliative care program.

Past speakers have included national and international leaders in the field.
