OB Tours
OB Tours give prenatal patients a chance to meet the OB staff and take a tour of the OB floor.
Tours are held Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Clarion Hospital Women’s Health & Birth Center.
This is a free service and all moms are encouraged to attend.
Please schedule with the office receptionist to set up your OB tour.
Preparing For Your Appointment
Welcome to Women’s Healthcare of Clarion. We are honored that you have chosen us as your OB/GYN. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care for all our patients in a timely and respectful manner.
You will need to bring your insurance card and photo ID with you to your appointment. All co-pays and past due balances are expected at time of service, unless a prior agreement has been made with our billing department.
Previous Records
Please have your previous OB/GYN records from the past 7 years forwarded to our office by completing our medical records release form. We ask that you mail the signed release back to our office at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.If we are unable to obtain your previous records prior to your appointment, you may be asked to be rescheduled. This is to ensure we have an accurate detailed history so that your providers are able to provide you with the best care possible.
Accepted Insurance Plans
Women’s Healthcare of Clarion accepts most major health plans including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UPMC and more. However since insurance plans are always changing and renaming, we encourage you to verify participation of our providers by contacting your insurance company.
Policies
Please review our policies prior to your visit (Policies can be found here). We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your appointment time in order to allow our staff time to review office policies and collect copays, etc. We ask that you allow plenty of time to get to the office for your appointment. You may be asked to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late.
We strive to stay on time but from time to time, a patient emergency or delivery arises and we may be running late for your visit. You will have the option to reschedule or stay to be seen and we will keep you informed of how long of a delay you may experience.
We understand that appointments sometimes need to be changed, so we ask that you call in advance if you cannot keep your scheduled appointment.
