Industrial Rehabilitation

Injured at work or have an injury/recent surgery preventing you from returning to work safely? We can help! BHS offers work hardening, work conditioning, ergonomic assessments, post offer screenings, and back school/CTD school.

Our program is designated for those whose ability to function in a work environment has been impaired by physical illness, or injury. Some examples of injuries include, but are not limited to: sprains, strains, joint replacements, repetitive stress injuries such as tendonitis, back injuries, and recent surgery.

Our Work Hardening program is tailored to each person’s needs. Programs usually last 2-4 hours/day, 3-5 days/week. We develop individualized programs utilizing task analysis of your specific job description and overall fitness level. Our program includes work simulation, strengthening, conditioning, education, stretching program, and personal ergonomic recommendations. You are the primary contributor to this program and are in control of your recovery. By participating in the program, you ease the transition from injured worker to productive worker. Our primary goal is the safe, productive return of the injured worker to the work force.
