Well balanced, nourishing meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. The Hostess from our Dietary Department will visit you in your room to take your order for your meals. Our Dietary Department makes every effort to provide tasteful meals that are prepared according to your doctor’s orders. This may include limitations on some items such as sodium, fats and carbohydrates. Additional limitations or special diets are prescribed due to interactions with certain medications and/or procedures that are a part of your treatment while at Clarion Hospital.
If your physician determines that you need nutritional counseling, our Registered Dietitian assesses these patients and provides consultations on any nutritional requirements during your stay.
Our Dietary Department offers outpatient nutrition counseling to individuals with specific nutritional needs, as well as those wanting to optimize their health through diet. Our registered dietitian/nutritionist offers individualized plans to help make life long dietary changes.

We welcome all visitors, family and employees to enjoy a variety of meal choices in the East Side Cafe. Located on the ground floor of our facility, Clarion Hospital’s East Side Cafe boasts a large selection of items from Market Street Deli to our Signature Entrees, Villa Toscano Pizza or Bravo, you are sure to find something to satisfy your hunger. We also offer two homemade soups daily and a fresh and always colorful salad bar. Meals are available for dine in or carry out.
