We look forward to making this another successful event. Thanks to all of you for your continued support of the BHS Foundation.
The BHS Foundation’s Caring Angel Program has been successful over the past 29 years, raising over $2 million to benefit children, youth and their families in Butler County. We are appreciative of the continued support received from the community, BHS employees and Medical Staff, local school districts and so many others.
The funds raised help families and children in need through educational, therapeutic and support services at BHS Family Services. These programs provide individual, family and group counseling, parent-child interactive therapy, adolescent after school programming and much more. Funds also support charitable emergency room care to children whose parents or guardians do not have the resources to pay.
A majority of the fundraising efforts revolve around the Caring Angel Basket Raffle which takes place at the beginning of December each year for a one week period. Employees, physician offices, ambulance service providers and other community members generously donate baskets. Raffle tickets are then sold for a chance to win one of the baskets. There is also a 50/50 raffle.
The 2022 event was held from December 1st through December 8th. Over $130,000 was raised, which is the highest amount raised to date from this event.
