 Palliative Care

Palliative care is specialized care that focuses on improving quality of life and providing comfort to people of all ages with serious, chronic and life-threatening illnesses.

At BHS, we take a team approach to care for the whole person - physically, emotionally and spiritually. This care is provided by a core team of specially-trained doctors, physician assistants, nurses and social workers who create a program based on the patient's individual goals.

Dr. Kathy Selvaggi is directing the BHS Palliative care program, providing leadership and expertise gained at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center.
