On April 1, 2020 Butler Health System was pleased to welcome Three Rivers
Cardiac Institute to the newly formed practice, BHS Cardiothoracic Surgery.
These fine, long standing surgeons and their team bring with them over
25 years of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery in the Butler and surrounding
areas. The first cardiac surgical case at Butler Health System was performed
in 1998 by a member of this team. The BHS Cardiothoracic Surgery practice
will be located at BHS Crossroads Campus, 127 Oneida Valley Road, Suite
202, Butler, PA as well as have office locations at 24 Doctors Lane, Suite
104, Clarion, PA; 2 Park Way, Seneca Commons, Seneca, PA; 313 Ford Street,
Suite 2B, Ford City, PA.

George Davliakos, MD received his medical degree from the University of
Pittsburgh and completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at The
University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He is board certified in Thoracic Surgery.
Hazem El-Khatib, MD received his medical degree from the American University
of Beirut School of Medicine and completed his cardiothoracic surgery
fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. He is board
certified in Thoracic Surgery.
Dean Lomago, MD received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh
School of Medicine and completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship
at Indiana University Medical Center. He is board certified in Thoracic Surgery.
Marie Delaney, PA-C received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician
Assistant Sciences from St. Francis University, Loretta, PA.
Christiana Freehling, PA-C received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology
from Penn State University and a Master of Physician Assistant Science
degree from St. Francis University, Loretta, PA.
Ryan Leonberg, PA-C received a Masters of Physician Assistant degree from
Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA.
Paige Smietana, PA-C received a Bachelor of Health Science degree and a
Master of Physician Assistant degree from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA.
Trevor Young, PA-C received a Bachelor of Science degree from Westminster
College, New Wilmington, PA and a Master of Physician Assistant degree
from Arcadia University, Glenside, PA.
