Crystal Ball

The Crystal Ball is an annual gala held in March. Past events have helped to purchase various equipment for the Women’s Imaging Center and the Operating Room. Proceeds have also supported several programs and services at Butler Health System, including the development of a Palliative Care Program.

The event includes a cocktail hour, auctions, dinner, dancing and other theme related fundraisers. The Women of Legacy award is also presented at the event. The award seeks to honor those who have notably contributed to the health and well-being of the local community through excellence in patient care, overcoming personal illness or crisis, or improving some aspect of the community’s health.

The last Crystal Ball “Rustic Elegance” was held on March 7, 2020 at the Double Tree by Hilton Pittsburgh/Cranberry. There were 400 guests in attendance, and over $150,000 was raised to support the purchase of an Automated Breast Ultrasound Unit for the Women’s Imaging Center.

The 2021 event was not held due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
