Family Service Corps (FSC) is an AmeriCorps program serving Butler and Lawrence County for more than 15 years. Each year FSC partners with nearly 50 agencies in the region with the goal of strengthening the community.

Members support and expand our partners' services and activities. Some examples include: recruit, train and supervise community volunteers; mentor youth; teach computer skills; clean parks and streams; provide housing referral services; run after school programs, help communities respond to disasters, provide outreach and community education services; and build the capacity of nonprofit groups.

Any nonprofit agency that has identified an unmet need in the community and would like to join the National Service family should apply for AmeriCorps members through Family Service Corps.
