Diagnostic testing can be stressful. That’s why the Women’s Imaging Center was designed and staffed by women, for women. Even during routine testing, we understand how important it is to be in a comfortable, supportive environment where privacy and convenience are valued.

We know that women are busy and when it comes to medical testing, the experience can make all the difference. With this in mind, we offer evening appointments, streamlined registration, play areas for children, a comfortable waiting room and private changing rooms.

Above all, we understand that you want the finest care available. The Women’s Imaging Center has the latest in advanced diagnostic care, from screening mammograms to diagnostic procedures. We offer digital mammography, breast ultrasound, and MRI breast scans as well as stereotatic, ultrasound, and MR-guided biopsy exams. If a patient requires further diagnostic images, she can get results on-site to ease anxiety. Biopsy results are processed through a radiologist and a pathologist in just a few days.

The Women’s Imaging Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with evening mammography appointments also available.

The Women’s Imaging Center of Butler Memorial Hospital has been designated a "Breast Imaging Center of Excellence" by the American College of Radiology's Commission on Quality and Safety and the Commission of Breast Imaging. This recognition is awarded after a peer review confirms a facility’s high standard of practice in stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy and mammography.
