Diabetes Tips
Make walking a regular habit in your life. Set reasonable goals, and start with an achievable distance and gradually increase it over time. Using a pedometer will help to keep you motivated; you’ll be able to see how much you have accomplished.
When walking, make sure you are wearing the right shoes. This is important to prevent foot problems, such as blisters. Wear a synthetic sock that wicks sweat away, not a cotton sock that holds in sweat – this can contribute to blisters.
