Butler Regional Recovery Program
Program Services
Assessment
Individual assessments ensure clients are placed in the appropriate program. In addition, we provide assessments for dual-diagnosed clients - those with chemical dependency and psychiatric concerns.
Outpatient Counseling
Our outpatient service provides adults the therapy they need while continuing their daily routine.
Program participants are encouraged to attend one hour per week or one hour biweekly. For convenience, we offer several locations with day and evening appointments.
Intensive Outpatient Evening Treatment
This program is designed for those who are still functioning in their jobs and family responsibilities but are unable to abstain from alcohol or other drugs.
The morning and evening programs are structured so individuals receive three, three-hour sessions per week. The program consists of group therapy sessions, individual therapy sessions when needed, and educational group sessions. This program can last up to eight weeks (24 sessions). Families are encouraged to participate in the family evening group, which meets twice per week.
Partial Hospitalization Treatment
The day program has become an alternative treatment choice for individuals who require the close attention of daily treatment support but do not need 24-hour inpatient medical care.
The two- to four-week outpatient program meets for six hours, five days a week. Services provided during the program consist of educational lectures on chemical dependency and recovery, individual and group therapy, and discussion groups. A family intervention day is held weekly. Individuals go home in the evening but are required to attend several Alcoholics Anonymous Narcotics Anonymous meetings throughout each week in treatment.
Inpatient Rehabilitation
Our hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation program includes intensive group and individual therapy, educational sessions, and a weekly family day. The length of stay is flexible and is determined by review of the patient's progress.
Inpatient Detoxification
This medically supervised intensive treatment program is designed to manage the patient's physical withdrawal from alcohol or other drugs. Detoxification is offered as an initial step in rehabilitation and as a separate service. Our goal during this period is the safe and comfortable detoxification of our patient.
Dual-Diagnosis Treatment
Some people struggle with chemical dependency and psychiatric problems. Our program offers psychiatric evaluation and, if needed, can treat the patient with the proper medication. Dual-diagnosed individuals are placed in the appropriate program or outpatient setting to help them recover from their addiction.
Relapse Prevention
We provide weekly group therapy specifically targeted to identify factors and events contributing to relapses and to develop strategies for prevention. The sessions are 90 minutes long at all program sites.
Family Intervention Program
The Family Intervention Program is a free service to friends and families of those who are chemically dependent. Therapists help family and friends understand addiction and how to cope with it. Services include individual, group, and family sessions.
Other Services
Community Services
The Butler Regional Recovery Program provides consultation and education services to area businesses. These services include management training and education on chemical dependency in the workplace, individual supervisory consultation, employee assessment, and referral services.
