Primary Care Physician Joins BMH Medical Staff (BUTLER, Pa.)—Robert Hornsby has recently been appointed to the medical staff at Butler Memorial Hospital as a family practitioner. He will be seeing patients at the Chicora Medical Center Butler Medical Associates Office, located on Medical Center Road in Chicora. Dr. Hornsby’s office can be contacted by calling 724-445-3720.
Dr. Hornsby comes to BMH from South Rowan Family Practice, where he has worked since 2005. He received his medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Prior to medical school, Dr. Hornsby received his Bachelor of Science degree from Western Carolina University, where he majored in biology.
Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Hornsby is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the South Carolina Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Hornsby has received some outstanding honors throughout his career, including an Army Commendation medal for Operation Iraqi Freedom, an Expeditionary medal for the Global War on Terrorism and a Service medal for the Global War on Terrorism.
