(BUTLER, PA)—James A. Craig Jr. D.O. has recently been appointed to the medical staff at Butler Memorial Hospital. A member of Tri Rivers Surgical Associates, he will primarily be seeing patients at their Cranberry/Mars location at 6998 Crider Road, Suite 110, as well as the Back and Neck Center of Butler Memorial Hospital, located at Butler Commons on New Castle Road.             Dr. Craig comes to BMH and Tri Rivers from a private practice in the Philadelphia area where he practiced a full spectrum of interventional and medical pain management. He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in 2003, and completed his interventional pain management fellowship and physical medicine residency at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital from 2004 to 2008. Prior to medical school, Dr. Craig received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Penn State University and did pre-medical work at PCOM.

Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, he is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, the American Pain Society, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He recently published in Neuromodulation: Technology at the Neural Interface.
