BHS Marketing Efforts Recognized with Four National Awards
June 9, 2009 — (BUTLER, PA) — Butler Health System’s Public Relations and Marketing Department has won four national awards from two different national organizations for their work in marketing BHS’s services.
BHS has won a gold Aster Award for its marketing campaign announcing its Heart & Vascular Center. This is BHS’s third Aster Award in a year for its effective marketing work. BHS was one of only four hospitals and healthcare systems in western Pennsylvania to win an Aster Award. Winning entries are published in Marketing Healthcare Today and on the Aster Awards website.
Competing with more than 3,600 entries, BHS has also won three national healthcare advertising awards from Healthcare Marketing Report in the 26th annual Marketing Advertising Awards competition, the oldest and largest healthcare marketing advertising competition in the nation.
Specifically, BHS won a bronze award for its 100 Best Cardiovascular Hospitals ad and two merit awards –one for their Tobacco Free billboards and another for the BHS WholeHealth television commercial, “The Wait,” which has already won several marketing awards.
In partnership with their advertising agency, Fitting Group, BHS’s marketing efforts have won thirteen awards in the last year on both the regional and national levels.
