BHS Foundation's Tenth Annual Golf Outing Most Successful Yet

July 9, 2009 — (BUTLER, PA) — The Butler Health System Foundation's tenth annual golf outing, held June 22nd at Butler Country Club, raised more money and attracted more golfers than any outing to date. Proceeds of $106,000 will be used to support programs and services at Butler Memorial Hospital. Presenting sponsor IBEW #5 & N.E.C.A. Labor Management Cooperation Committee hosted 180 golfers for the outing.

"We are enormously thankful to our many sponsors who have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to Butler Health System and our work by their support of this tournament in difficult financial times," said John Righetti, BHS Vice President, responsible for the BHS Foundation. "It's the first time this tournament has ever sold out."

First place went to NexTier Bank, the OpSolve team took second place, and the team of Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir took third. Additional sponsors who played a significant role included Turner Construction Company, Fox Rothschild LLP, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, MSA and UPMC Health Plan.
