New Gastroenterologist Appointed to Medical Staff at Butler Memorial Hospital

December 19, 2007 -- (BUTLER, Pa.) – Peter Molloy, M.D. was recently appointed to the medical staff at Butler Memorial Hospital and joined the practice of Dr. Richard Latuska and Donald Walters located at the Benbrook Medical Center off of South Benbrook Road.

Dr. Molloy graduated from Fordham University and completed his medical education from The State University of New York-Stony Brook. He is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology.

His most recent position was Chief of Gastroenterology and Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at West Penn Hospital. He is an associate professor of medicine at Temple University.

Dr. Molloy has published extensively. His most recent publication was as a co-author of a chapter on anal fissures, ulcers and stenosis in the textbook Diseases of the Colon, which was published this year by Informa Healthcare. He is also published in this month’s American Journal of Gastroenterology.
