New OB/GYN Appointed To Medical Staff at Butler Memorial Hospital

October 26, 2007 - (BUTLER, PA) – Marydonna Ravasio, D.O., was recently appointed to the medical staff at Butler Memorial Hospital. She has joined the practice of Advanced OB/GYN Associates. Along with Drs. Ronald Cypher, Philip Lenko, Patti Arnett, Lisa Hildenbrand and Vicki Young, Dr. Ravasio will provide an array of advanced OB/GYN services for women at Advanced's three locations in Butler, Cranberry and Saxonburg.

Dr. Ravasio earned a bachelor of science in biology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and a bachelor of science in marine engineering and transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. She received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an internship and residency at Memorial Hospital in York, Pa.

A board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, Dr. Ravasio most recently served as department chief at Reynolds Army Community Hospital in Ft. Sill, Okla., where she was a major in the United States Army Medical Corps.

Dr. Ravasio resides in Butler with her two children.
