Slippery Rock Family Medicine Welcomes New Physician

October 24, 2007 - (BUTLER, PA) – Megan Nash, D.O., was recently appointed to the medical staff at Butler Memorial Hospital as a family physician. She joined the Slippery Rock Family Medicine practice of Drs. Michael McDonald and Robin Plank located on Kelly Boulevard in Slippery Rock. The office can be reached by calling (724) 794-4023.

At Slippery Rock, Dr. Nash will provide a broad range of healthcare services for which families typically see their physician, including immunizations, physicals and diagnostics, as well as a range of preventive healthcare exams.

As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Nash has three years of experience in family medicine. A native of Bradford, Pa., she received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and went on to earn her doctorate in osteopathic medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

For the past three years, Dr. Nash served as a resident physician at Valley Baptist Family Practice in Harlingen, Texas.

Now back in Western Pennsylvania, Dr. Nash is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Christian Medical and Dental Society.

In her spare time, the Slippery Rock resident enjoys playing with her son and going on hikes with her husband.
