Family Services Receives Grant

July 3, 2007 - (BUTLER, PA) - Karen Zapp of BMH Family Services applied and received a grant in the amount of $2,800 from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Family Health. The money will be used to purchase cribs, mattresses, portable cribs and blanket sleepers to help clients participating in the pregnancy home-visitation support program. These items are used as incentives to encourage moms to work toward a healthy pregnancy through consistent prenatal care and participation in home visits, education and support offered by Family Services care managers.
