BHS Foundation Crystal Ball Raises $101,500 for Women’s Imaging at BMH

April 4, 2007 - (BUTLER, PA) - The Butler Health System Foundation held its most successful Crystal Ball ever, raising $101,500 during the sixth annual event. “Viva Las Vegas” was held on Saturday, March 10th at the Pittsburgh Marriott North in Cranberry Township. Proceeds will help purchase a stereotactic breast biopsy machine for the Women’s Imaging Center at Butler Memorial Hospital.

More than 370 guests enjoyed a fun-filled evening, Las Vegas style. Festivities included casino games, a Las Vegas dance performance, cutting-edge dinner stations, a basket auction, silent auction and dancing to the sound of Sputzy and the Soul Providers. Chances were sold for a two-night stay in Las Vegas.

A committee of community volunteers chaired by Karen Smaldino coordinated the Ball. Sponsors for the evening included:
