New OB/GYN Physician Begins Practicing in Butler

Butler Medical Providers, operated by Butler Health System, recently hired a new obstetrics/gynecology physician that will open a brand new practice, Butler OB/GYN Associates to serve patients in this region. William C. Murray, D.O is now seeing patients in Dr. Asha Marwaha’s office that is located at 324 Fifth Street in Butler. The telephone number is 724. 283.8232. The Medical Staff at Butler Memorial Hospital also recently appointed Dr. Murray to it’s ranks.
A native of Rochester, PA, Dr. Murray earned a bachelor of science degree in from Thiel College in Greenville, PA. He earned his doctor of osteopathy degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, IA. He served an intership at Memorial Osteopathic Hospital in York, Pa and then a residency in family medicine followed by a residency in obstretrics/gynecology, both at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HA. He was discharged from the United States Army in 1985 as a Lieutenant Colonel and he served in active duty with the U.S. Army Reserves in 1990 and 1991 in Desert Storm at the 300th field hospital in Saudi Arabia.
He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Murray’s areas of interest and experience include standard ob/gyn care, tubal microsurgery, minimally invasive surgery for stress incontinence, endometrial ablation, infertility evaluation and treatment and laparoscopic surgery. He comes to Butler Medical Providers from Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, PA where he worked for the past 20 years. |
