BMH Auxiliary Names New Leadership
June 30 , 2006 - (BUTLER, PA) -
The BMH Auxiliary recently named new officers for 2006-2008. Elected to office is Pat Jackson of Renfrew as president; Bertha Salony of Butler as vice president; Debbie Wasylyk of Butler as second vice president; Carole Widdersheim of Butler as recording secretary; Jocelyn Shetter of Butler as corresponding secretary; Ramona Smith of Slippery Rock as treasurer; Bernie Carr of Connoquenessing as assistant treasurer; Bette King of Valencia as parliamentarian; and Sara Channapati of Butler as past president.
This slate of officers will serve a two-year term and direct the activities of more than 315 volunteers that donate more than 26,000 work hours and their fund-raising proceeds each year to the hospital.
Some of the groups’ plans over the next two years include sewing stuffed animals for children that visit the emergency department and securing more volunteers to serve at the off-campus locations where BMH has programs and services.
