Butler Health System Hires Practice Administrator for Butler Medical ProvidersFeb. 17, 2005 - (BUTLER, Pa.) – Janet Frings was recently hired as the new practice administrator for Butler Medical Providers, the division of Butler Health System that provides physician services.Frings comes to BMP from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield where she was the group practice manager for Highmark’s subsidiary, Alliance Ventures, Inc. that managed up to 10 divisions of physician practices. She has extensive experience in the medical profession including physician office management, billing and consultation. “We are excited to have Janet join our team at a time when we are continuing to expand the reach of Butler Medical Providers to provide for our growing number of patients,” says Mike Swank, Executive Director, Physician Network Development with Butler Health System. “Her expertise in managing several divisions of medical practices will prove invaluable as we focus on providing physician services to our expanding community.” Frings earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Duquesne University. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, and has participated on several health care committee focus groups and round table discussions. Butler Medical Providers includes Butler Medical Associates, which consists of physician offices located in Butler, Chicora, Mars, Zelienople and shortly in the Sarver area. There are a total of 10 primary care physicians in the practice and two physician assistants. In addition, Butler Medical Providers include: the three pathologists that work in the hospital’s laboratory, two infectious disease physicians at BMH, and the endrocrinologist in the Diabetes Management Center at BMH. |
