BMH Offers Educational Program on Prostate CancerSeptember 16, 2004 - (BUTLER, PA) – In conjunction with cancer awareness month, the Education Department at Butler Memorial Hospital will host an educational forum titled “An Overview of Prostate Cancer: Diagnosis and Treatment” at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 23 in the Dimmick Educational Center at the hospital.The program will be lead by S. K. Sekaran, M.D. a urologist at BMH. Topics will include early detection and methods of treatment including medication, surgical intervention and brachytherapy. This program is free and open to the public but registration is required because seating is limited. To register, call 724-284-4232. |
