BHS Foundation Announces 2003 Caring Angel Campaign TotalApril 6, 2004 - The Butler Health System Foundation recently announced the total campaign proceeds for the 2003 Caring Angel fund drive. The net proceeds were more than $84,000.A recognition breakfast was held on March 18 to honor those volunteers that worked on the 2003 campaign. A check for $36,000 was presented to Debbie Klingensmith, director, emergency department at Butler Memorial Hospital, to support the emergency care for children. Nancy McKee, supervisor of the hospital's Family First Resource Center also received a check for $36,000 to support the services they provide to families. An additional $10,000 was presented to the Butler Recovery Project to support the substance addiction drop-in center for those in recovery. Plans are already under way for the 2004 campaign. The goal has been set at $100,000. |
