BMH Auxiliary Names New LeadershipJuly 20, 2004 - The BMH Auxiliary recently named new officers for 2004-2006. They are:- Sara Channapati of Butler, president
- Pat Jackson of Renfrew, vice president
- Bertha Salony of Butler, second vice president
- Jocelyn Shetter of Butler, recording secretary
- Margie Balog of Meridian, corresponding secretary
- Ramona Smith of Slippery Rock, treasurer
- Toni Tassey of Butler, assistant treasurer
- Eunice Nevins, of Butler, parliamentarian
- Bette King of Valencia, past president
This slate of officers will serve a two-year term and direct the activities of a 317-member team of volunteers that donate more than 26,000 work hours and their fund-raising proceeds each year to the hospital.
Some of the groups’ plans over the next two years include sewing stuffed animals for children that visit the emergency department and securing more volunteers to serve at the off-campus locations where BMH has programs and services.
