Preparing for Labor and Birth (Lamaze)
This instructional series is designed to help prepare expectant mothers and their coaches for the labor and birth of a new baby. This course offers valuable information regarding natural, medicated, and cesarean section delivery. Topics include signs of approaching labor, breathing techniques, relaxation skills, comfort management, medications and epidurals.
Course content follows Lamaze International™ curriculum guidelines. A tour of the maternity unit is included at the Butler Classes.
