Patricia (Pat) Liebman
Pat Liebman brings over 35 years of experience in healthcare delivery and financing to the Butler Health System Board of Trustees. Her training as a registered nurse spurred the unique customer/patient focus that she has applied to her various executive positions in healthcare provider and insurance organizations. Pat has focused her career on finding the most efficient solutions to healthcare issues. She is known as a results-oriented, accountable leader producing strong financial performance in both startup and turnaround organizations, while continually improving customer satisfaction and outcomes of care.
Pat was previously the CEO of Managed Health Services of Indiana, the founding CEO of UPMC Health Plan and Senior Vice President of Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania. She also held management positions with UPMC St. Margaret and UPMC Presbyterian Hospitals. Throughout her career, Pat has had many opportunities to partner with Butler Health System, and she calls the institution a "progressive, independent, community based organization led by a passionate administrative team." Pat continues, "I feel very fortunate to be joining Butler Health System as it strives to assure its future in the healthcare landscape of Western PA."

Of Special Interest: Pat is an avid runner, cyclist and golfer and on occasion, continues to compete in regional races. Pat and her husband Marc have four children and four grandchildren.
