Marcia Segraves
Secretary
Marcia Segraves is a retired Mellon Bank manager who oversaw two of the largest branches of Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh, including those at Mellon’s corporate headquarters at One Mellon Center and at Fifth Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh. Marcia also has volunteered with the Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for more than 10 years and has served as its president. Through her professional experience, Marcia has developed a strong understanding of much of the financial services industry and honed an ability to create effective policies and procedures and proactively address customer needs. She’s been able to transfer that experience to the health care arena and to her role as a trustee. Her experience on the floor of Butler Memorial as an auxiliary member has been just as valuable, as she has experienced first-hand the day-to-day operations necessary to keep a community hospital thriving. Marcia became a trustee because she felt the hospital was a valuable and critical asset to the community. “I wanted to help make sure it maintained its accreditation and high standards for care and service,” Marcia said. “As a board, we work with the administration and staff to plan for and ensure the hospital’s ability to meet the community’s present and future needs.”
