Building for the Future - Capital Campaign
The Building for the Future Campaign is a monumental three to five year philanthropic campaign to raise $7 million. BHS will make a multi-million dollar investment in information technology, electronically linking hospital services, doctors and patients for enhanced care.
Construction costs for the new health care system will be about $152 million. Approximately $145 million will be funded by the hospital’s existing cash reserves and future operating revenue and bonds. The remaining $7 million will be raised in a community-wide capital campaign. Funds raised in the campaign will be used to help pay for the furnishings and technology in the new facility.
To date, we have raised $6 million towards our goal.
